Neckar valley suburban trains, part 1.

The Neckar river runs through the southern German state of Baden-Wittenberg to the Rhine at Mannheim. An efficient system of suburban commuter trains makes it possible for people to get from small towns to cities such as Heidelberg, Mannheim and Mainz without ever using a car. Here a quick train passes through a station just east of Heidelberg. The station building was erected in 1892, and today it is used completely as a flower-shop, thus necessitating the construction of a new station with a simple set of high-level platforms nearby.
