Now, This is a USB Condenser microphone meaning that you do not need any extras to get this baby set up. You just plug the usb into your computer, and it's ready to go. And this is one of the strong points of the SL150. If you need to record a quick voice-over, or take a skype call, setting up the microphone will be a breeze. This makes the microphone n00b friendly and you are pretty much guaranteed not to experience any problems, and it is compatible with all operating systems. Build Quality: If you watched my unboxing video you might know that I mentioned that this was the new and currently unreleased SL150, so from all the information that I have gathered on the previous model, this is built much better. They have thrown out the old plastic construction for a new mixture of solid die-cast metals. This not only makes the microphone more rigid, but more aesthetically appealing.
